A Day with the Shepherd in Filattiera

Immersed in the landscapes of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park, you will experience a day experiencing the life of a Lunigiana shepherd.

A unique experience, in touch with nature and traditions, to learn about the daily life of a shepherd in the foothills of the Apennines.
Thanks to Sigeric's Guides, experts in Tourism in Lunigiana, you will be able to meet a shepherd and experience the countryside and herd firsthand and learn how to make cheese!

Itinerary

Meeting point at 9:30 AM at the Filattiera Information Point, after which we will move towards Prati di Logarghena. There, you will meet the Shepherd who will let you experience a unique encounter in close contact with nature and the flock. Afterwards, you can witness the entire cheese production process and learn how to make it with your own hands. Finally, you can taste a succulent lunch with locally sourced (Km0) products.
