Get in touch with the culinary traditions of Lunigiana and discover the world of herbs, then put your ‘hands in the dough’ and learn how to cook Lunigiana's Torta d'Erbi at the Caterina Sarti farm in Treschietto.
Not far from the historical centre of Bagnone, in the heart of the Appennino Tosco Emiliano National Park, stands the village of Treschietto, amidst the imposing ruins of the castle overlooking the ravine. Here, there is a long tradition of onion cultivation, the protagonist of unique Lunigiana specialities and dishes such as Torta d'Erbi.
In Treschietto, we will be in the company of a naturalist who will first illustrate the properties of the edible herbs used in cooking and then, together with Caterina, we will discover her history and her company, whose aim is to cultivate and hand down the traditions of the area to this day. Following this, we will cook this particular typical product.
