One of Podenzana's treasures is in fact the famous Panigaccio, a unique dish in which unleavened bread is baked in a special earthenware pot, called a ‘testo’, which is heated over a fire to give it an unmistakable flavour. Ancient and simple, Panigaccio is a true symbol of local identity.
During this experience, thanks also to the Associazione Panigaccio Podenzana, it will be possible to observe live all the stages of preparation, try cooking, and finally taste this dish that for centuries was one of the main sources of sustenance for local communities.
